Dumbass. Who leaves their date alone at one of these parties? I watch Firefly as she looks around, searching for her date, and as she realizes she’s been dumped, her eyes fill with gloominess.

She looks at me hesitantly for a short while before she nods, “Thank you.”

I smile, “Another whiskey?”

“Why the hell not,” she says, and her eyes brighten up before she turns on her heels and sits on the stool at the bar. “Are you coming or what?” She looks from behind her arm, smirking. Fuck. She’s so gorgeous. I can’t get the dirty thoughts out of my mind. I’d rather take her upstairs and fuck her so hard every one hears her screaming. But not tonight. Tonight, I turn into her knight in shining armor—her savior.
